IntuitionIntuition is probably the second highest level of knowledge humans can gain with the highest being, spiritual truth. With Intuition, we know answers, but we just cannot reason out and justify them.  So much closer is intuition to the real knowledge of life and its meaning.

When i was very young, my father once told me a story. A story of a rich man who wanted to give away all the money he had. The more he gave away to the poor, the more he got. Unlike other stories, this wasn’t intuitive. Ever since i heard this story, there has been something unexceptionably attractive about counter intuitiveness.

Weird ThoughtIts not that spiritual leaders copy what each other say, yet they all come up with the same old message. Every leader talks about inching towards eternal love, harmony, peace and the beauty that these bring. And what’s amazing is that these claims are entirely irrelevant of what philosophy they preach or which religion they follow.

Purpose?Almost a year ago, i tried writing my ideas about life and its purpose. There were many comments and further discussions followed, both online and offline. A question such as this, is the pinnacle of knowledge, that once we know the answer to it, we probably lose interest in this life.

Weird thoughtsWhen I first wrote an article on the topic Weird Thought i didn’t foresee i will have too many to make it a series. Weird thoughtsI was having a chat with a physicist a while ago about celestial objects and the universe. He mentioned that there are an “estimated” 70 thousand billion billion stars ( yes, it is billion billion and not a typo) in the universe and our sun is just one of them. We have many more billions of planets, meteorites, asteroids and what not. And he also said that more stars are constantly being created from hydrogen getting closer to each other and collapsing on its own gravity. It sounded very interesting and certainly convincing given the fact that we actually can picture them using telescopes on earth and with telescopes that go farther into the solar system.
